OUR POLICIES READ AS FOLLOWS -
STANDARD ONE YEAR MANUFACTURER WARRANTY:
The manufacturer warrants this product of any defects in workmanship and materials, under normal residential use and conditions, for a period of one (1) year for the original invoice date. Shipping and handling fees are to be paid for by the customer. Any damages occurring to your item, either on receipt of delivery or as a result of malfunction, will be repaired or replaced by the manufacture. EXO Drones' is entitled to investigate the causes of any claimed malfunctions and will grant a replacement or repair at our sole discretion. And items found to be damaged at the fault of the user will not be covered by this warranty. See above warranty for damages occurring due to user-related fault. The customer will be responsible for covering all related shipping, handling, packing and return postage costs, unless otherwise stated.
Proof of purchase must be supplied when requesting a warranty claim.
This warranty does not include: Any condition resulting from other than ordinary use for which the product was not intended, such as use in rental or contract trade or commercial use; Any condition resulting from incorrect or inadequate maintenance or care; Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, negligence, accidents or shipping damage; Dissatisfaction due to buyer’s remorse; Normal wear and tear; Damages incurred during transportation; Damages incurred during assembly or maintenance; Any used, previously displayed items.
EXO Drones makes no express warranty or condition whether written or oral and EXO Drones expressly disclaims all warranties and conditions not stated in this limited warranty. To the extent allowed by the local law of jurisdictions outside the United States, EXO Drones disclaims all implied warranties or conditions, including any implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. For all transactions occurring in the United States, any implied warranty of condition of merchantability, satisfactory quality, or fitness for a particular purpose is limited to the duration of the express warranty set forth above. Some states or countries do not allow a limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion of limitation of incidental or consequential damages for consumer products. In such sates or countries, some exclusions or limitations of this limited warranty may not apply to the Purchaser. For consumer transaction, the limited warranty terms contained in this statement, except to the extent lawfully permitted, do not exclude, restrict, or modify but are in addition to the mandatory statutory rights applicable to the sale of this Product to the Purchaser.
All returns, refunds and warranty claims must be filed by the consumer directly to EXO Drones, who in turn is to contact the manufacturer regarding any warranty return or replacement. Please retain invoices for a minimum of one year for warranty purposes.
CLAIM PROCEDURES: Claims for defective merchandise must be made within ONE year from invoice date. Claims for missing parts must be made within 60 calendar days after the merchandise is received. Any claim for defective merchandise returns must be packed in original packaging. Pictures are required to claim defective merchandise, along with a copy of the original invoice. If the claim is justified, the item(s) or part(s) will be repaired or replaced or a credit will be issued. It is our policy to replace parts whenever possible. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have other rights, which vary from state to state.
REPLACEMENT INSURANCE (MUST PURCHASE):
In the case of any accidental, unintended, or negligent damage to the structure or technological vitals of your quadcopter, EXO Drones warrants this product to be replaced in its entirety, including any flying accessories such as the controller or propellers, one time during the duration of your damage warranty. Any piece that is returned in some form with proof of purchase can be replaced, and you are able to warrant different pieces of the product at separate times. Any damage found to be intentional for the purpose of claiming a replacement is not covered under this warranty and will not be replaced. There are no additional fees or excess to be paid to make a claim.
Product warranties are only refundable after purchase for a 7-day window, unless you return your entire order including the insured drone. In which case, your replacement insurance will be refunded for the portion of its remaining time limit. Lifetime guarantees will receive a full refund in this event.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE?
In short, our standard manufacturers warranty protects you against any malfunctions that wouldn't ordinarily occur with usage in accordance with our guidelines. It does not protect you against any damages done to the drone through accidental or negligent actions on behalf of the user. Such examples include: Accidental damage to the drone during flight.
The replacement insurance will ensure that you are granted a free replacement even if the damages are your fault, through either accidental, unintentional or negligent damage. However - it does not grant coverage for intentional fault, and it does not grant a free replacement if there is no fault with your existing drone during the duration of your insurance.
