I had this product for a few years now, and I've always ment to wright a review, but because I wasn't using it, out of sight out of mind.

There's a level on inconsistency. I bought one drone, they sent two. ( Nice) It's a good thing they did, because the battery for the one was defective even for drone standards. It takes multiple hours to charge for about 20 mins of flight. The battery slot and the drone itself doesn't seem like they are machine pressed to fit for either drone that I got. Much like how someone else said, both drones have heavy drift, so you have to fight with it in air. That drift also makes it dangerous. ( Yes I checked the blades. Yes I've replaced one of the two sets on one of the two drones. ) But between it's natural drift, and one of my flights where the power was unstable, the dron took control of itself to attempt a landing at home function, and would not let me override it. This drone also doesn't have a emergency remote power off function, while it's not 'required' the fact that it possible to be locked out of a drone's control is wild.

I got my X7 Ranger Plus January 2024. Was super excited to get a new drone that didn't have issues, made or at least put together in the US. Well unfortunately the challenges/quirks started out of the box. The batteries never fully charged no matter how long they were left on the charger, the light just kept blinking, but I lived with it, they still gave me enough flight time to do what I needed. Then another problem popped up with it losing connection to my phone, no wifi connection, no camera, no camera, no pictures. Now today I'm flying my drone and everything is going fine and then the "whirring" stops, I think to myself thats odd I should hear the motors and blades whirring, I look up and I see it dropping out of the sky, CRASH onto the roof I was inspecting. So I go to try and contact EXO and none of the pages for contacting the company will load. No email or phone contact. If I crashed it and broke it thats on me, but the thing just DROPPED out of the sky, no warning nothing. I hope maybe this review will get someones attention at EXO.

Bought this red drone for my wife and even though our first fly day was a bust due to the drone would not take off, the second day was better since we got it in the air. The drone handles pretty good in the air, but wind gusts of 10mph seem to hamper the flight a little. The major ick, is the camera. Way too much pixilation when flying around. I'm not even shooting videos, yet just when flying around, the camera seems to always be "catching up" with the environment.

Good beginner drone for the wife, maybe the BH3Pro when she gets more into it like myself.

I will say though, email response from the EXO team is top-notch, so that's a good thing.
