Do I Need Permission to Fly This Drone Recreationally?
While you do not need a special license, you do need to register the drone with the FAA (in the United States). You can register here. Please also make sure you are in an allowable airspace when flying.
What Happens If The Drones Runs Out Of Battery Mid Air?
If the drone runs out of battery mid-air, it will initiate the landing procedure at a descent of ~1m/s. During that time, you will still have X-axis control and can attempt to bring it back to you during the time it takes to land. We encourage you not to fly your drone after the low battery warning is signaled. If you are concerned about making a mistake we encourage you to purchase EXO Care insurance!

Can You Fly The Drone Without Wi-Fi?
Yes, the connection between your remote control, drone, and phone all run off their own signal (for all drones).
Will I Receive Everything I Need To Fly Out Of The Box?
Yes! Everything you need to fly and film. Note - you are encouraged to charge it up fully before taking off.
How Many Videos Can This Drone Take?
It can store as much as you'd like on your phone, and full storage depends on the size of your MicroSD card. We always recommend filming/shooting to a MicroSD for the best capture resolution. Computers are best for long term storage and management of your video.
How Do I Properly Mount The Propellers Onto The Motors?
To attach, push the rod of the leg into the propeller’s holes and twist to the right. Keep it pushed until fully twisted. After releasing, to test, pull up on the propeller after attachment, it should not move vertically at all. It’s extremely important that you double check they are fastened properly before take off.

I bought this drone last year and immediately was thrilled when I opened the box. The red color just pops and no one else has it. The setup was a breeze. I have had 5 drones of various brands before buying the EXO Ranger Plus, all of which I spent good money, and this drone surpassed them ALL! It handles well in the wind, the battery lasts the full time listed, and it is a durable drone. The camera footage is ok but the rest of the features make up for where it lacks. I hope they upgrade the camera soon. Highly recommend this drone to newbies and experienced flyers. It is FUN!!! Thank you EXO! Plus, its american made, BOOYAH!!

This is my second ranger 7 plus I ran it into the back of my car smashed the camera but it's still flies so I bought a new one the same ranger 7 plus they are good machine stable in the air. On the 4th I'm going to take it up and see if I can get videos of fireworks I think that would be cool. What do you guys think of that is anybody tried it. I will put videos of it in later wish me luck.

I received the EXO X7 Ranger Plus (in red) with no obstacle avoidance. I have flown some competitors drones and this one readily compares to them in quality, stability, flight time and ease of use. Right out o the box the drone was ready to fly, with the exception of registration and the calibration process. The drone is smooth and responsive and the still photo and video are good quality. I opted to buy two additional batteries as once you get it in the air, you don't want to stop. Would love to upgrade to the Blackhawk 3 Pro soon to expand my flight experiences and flight times. Overall a good quality drone at a good price over the competitors.

The drone is awesome! It withstands wind and flys smoothly even for first time flyers. But the obstacle avoidance is useless. There is no way to control it and it made my drone fly straight up, luckily the drone is well made and survived the emergency landing. All in all a great drone, but DO NOT BUY THE OBSTACLE AVOIDANCE, but definitely buy this drone.
