Being new to drones I had tried to fly others (cheaper) drones with no luck. So after putting out $450 or so I was a little nervous about losing or crashing it. Both happen a friend told me, can't worry about it but still. Well, this drone really surprised me at how easy it is to fly. Within minutes I was in the air and zipping around. I bought the optional obstacle avoidance (for fear of crashing) and I used it once and it is back in it's box. It worked great but as easy as this drone is to fly, I feel I don't need it and better off without it. If you're new to droning or a seasoned pro, this is a fantastic drone that will fit your pocketbook and at the same time give you many features of the more expensive drones. The videos and pictures are sharp and clear even in very windy conditions. I have had this drone now for over a year and I'm just scratching the surface to it's capabilities partly because the instruction videos from EXO just say "with the click of button " I didn't know what all the icons on the remote controller were or what they do. I found another drone (limitless 4S) with instruction videos and it explained the controller. It is the same as Ranger 7 plus but $200 more expensive. With that said, I would highly recommend this drone to anyone. I really enjoy flying it. (Note to EXO) Put out a video with full instructions that newbies and others will understand.
